The present paper continues the attempts of this laboratory to gain an insight into the differences and the regularities exhibited by highly polymerized desoxypentose nucleic acids (DNA) of different cellular origin. The problems investigated, the results achieved, and the provisional conclusions reached have been reviewed (l-3).
