Abstract The boundary condition of lamellar eutectic growth, that the solid-liquid interfaces of two solid phases are isothermal on the average, is considered to constrain the interface too much. Therefore, the lamellar eutectic growth was analysed under the minimum undercooling condition of partial interface, that is, outer slopes of α and β phase.
