Crown gall tumor disease in dicot plants is caused by Agrobacterium tumefaciens harboring a giant tumor-inducing (Ti) plasmid. Here, for the first time among agrobacterial plasmids, the nucleotide sequence of a typical nopaline-type Ti plasmid (pTi-SAKURA) was determined completely.
