Complete genome sequences of two isolates of Kalanchoë latent virus

Kalanchoë latent virus (KLV), which was first reported in 1982 by S. S. Hearon, belongs to the genus Carlavirus in the family Flexiviridae [4]. Carlaviruses have monopartite, positive-sense, single-stranded, and poly(A) tailed RNA genomes [6]. Carlavirus genomes range in size from 8,363 nts for shallot latent virus (SLV, NC_003557) [2] to 8,855 nts for… (More)
