This paper is concerned with performance and quality of service (QoS) guarantees fo r wireless networks that support multiple types of trafic. QoS is maintained by a distributed adaptive event-based admission control scheme. We compare the case where cell capacity is completely shared by the calls to the case where the cell capacity is partitioned fo r different types of trafic.
