Amblyseius swirskii Athias-Henriot (Acari: Phytoseiidae) is a very efficient generalist predatory mite of Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae) and Frankliniella occidentalis (Pergande) (Thysanoptera: Thripidae), worldwide released in horticultural greenhouses.
