In this comparative study, the suitability of the commonly used in vivo biomarker for estrogenicity, vitellogenin (VTG), upon waterborne exposure to known environmental estrogens is evaluated in both male zebrafish (Danio rerio) and juvenile rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss).
