Existing multielement spectrographic and chemical analyses of samples from the Morrison Formation were used to determine the chemical characteristics of primary and secondary uranium ore, barren sandstones, and mineralized and unmineralized mudstones. The analyses were for 696 sandstone samples and 32 mudstone samples from mines in the Ambrosia Lake area of New Mexico, 100 other sandstone samples from the Ambrosia Lake area, and 321 sandstone samples from elsewhere in the San Juan basin… CONTINUE READING
