OBJECTIVE The present study was to compare the efficacy of a single daily dose of methimazole (MMI) and propylthiouracil (PTU) in the treatment of Graves' hyperthyroidism. BACKGROUND Antithyroid drugs, MMI and PTU, are widely used in the treatment of hyperthyroidism.
