OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to compare microdebrider subcapsular tonsillectomy (MST) with total tonsillectomies either by harmonic scalpel (TTH) or electrocautery (TTE) in children with obstructive sleep-disordered breathing from tonsillar hypertrophy.
