Overall, 2,337 rectal screening samples (RSSs) were seeded by using the Wasp instrument for automated microbiological processing with five media for detection of extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL): CHROMagar, ChromID, Brilliance, BD Drigalski, and HEGP media.
