This paper deals with three different topologies of voltage multiplier cells with Interleaved Boost Converter (IBC) for charging the battery of Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV). A DC-DC boost converter is used to step-up the voltage. Here, interleaving structure is used to reduce the input current ripple, output voltage ripple, power loss and to reduce the input current that is fed to the battery of the PHEV.
