The goal of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of Alpha ointment in the treatment of burn wounds and compare its results with silver sulfadiazine (SS). Similar burn ulcers were produced on anterior surface of thigh of 60 rats. The wounds were infected with Pseudomonas aeruginosa and dressing and debridement was performed daily.
