PURPOSE To analyze the current approaches to the surgical management of symptomatic femoroacetabular impingement (FAI). METHODS Thirteen relevant queries were used in four search engines (PubMed, EMBASE, Ovid, and the Cochrane Review) with a resultant 5,856 articles.
