OBJECTIVE The objective of the study was to assess the efficacy and safety of second-generation antipsychotics olanzapine and risperidone vs. haloperidol in patients of delirium admitted to medical and surgical wards. METHODS Prospective follow-up single-blind randomized controlled trials were performed.
