BACKGROUND/AIMS Natural polyphenols are chemically and biologically active. This study aimed at examining the physiological effects of high doses of polyphenol extracts from green tea and new polyphenol-rich sources (chokeberry and honeysuckle fruits) on nutrient absorption.
