Antiulcerogenic efficacies of cimetidine and gefarnate were compared in the normal, aspirin, acetic acid and stress induced ulcerated albino rats. In addition, their effects on output of gastric acid, pepsin and hexosamine were studied in normal and experimentally ulcerated rats.
