OBJECTIVES Optimal conditions for blood collection for circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) are still being developed. Although both Streck and EDTA tubes are commonly used, their ability to stabilize ctDNA as a function of time and temperature post-collection has not been thoroughly studied.
