Parabolic trough collectors are widely used as a solar energy recovery device, with the reflected concentrated solar energy focused mostly to a single cylindrical tube. In present study, the parabolic Trough of Aperture 1.2 m and length 3.6 m was fabricated using mild steel and its interior surface covered with reflective surface of ionized aluminium with a reflectivity of 84 %.
