This comparative report explores two high-level agent programming techniques from two different papers, and provides an analysis of each technique. The techniques include an Incremental Interpreter and a ConGolog+HTN construct which have been implemented on Golog and ConGolog respectively. We will contrast the two techniques by looking at the similarities and differences between each one. There are also examples presented in references to the cooking domain using each technique. The report will then draw to a conclusion and outline strengths and weaknesses of the ConGolog+HTN construct and an Incremental Interpreter.
