4 Abstract: Twenty three (23) samples were studied to determine the chemical characteristics of locally produced and imported honey. The samples were purchased from local market of Peshawar city Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK). All the samples were analyzed for Total Solids, Moisture, Ash, Total sugars, Reducing sugar, Sucrose, Total Acidity. Free Acidity, pH, Refractive Index, Diastase Activity Number, HMF and minerals i.e. Sodium and Potassium. From these results, it is indicated that in apparent…

INVESTIGATION OF PHYSICO-CHEMICAL AND BIOACTIVE PROPERTIES OF HONEY FROM THE RAIGAD DISTRICT OF MAHARASHTRA STATE
TLDR
All the honey samples collected from 15 tehsils in the Raigad district of the Maharashtra State are of good quality and hence suitable for consumption and thus would help in commercialization of honey in the local market.
Hygienic quality of the honey samples produced in the Iran in comparison with international standards
Honey is a sweet, viscous liquid that bees produce from nectar collected from plant nectarines and store as food. In this study, some physicochemical properties (pH, ash, reducing sugars, sucrose,
Physico-chemical characteristics of some Indian and Yemeni Honey
The present study aimed to evaluate the physio-chemical properties of four Indian and Yemeni types of honey Coorg and Kashmiri honey (India), Sidr and Acacia honey (Yemen). The honey samples appeared
COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE MINERAL COMPOSITIONS OF HONEY SAMPLES COLLECTED FROM THE THREE SENATORIAL DISTRICTS OF KANO STATE, NIGERIA
Honey, the unique, natural, liquid sweetening agent is produced by honey bees from the nectar of plants or from honeydew. Honey is also known to have many medicinal applications including
Physicochemical Properties of Honey Produced at Different Altitudes
The types and densities of honeyed plants vary depending on the altitude. This causes the amount and Physicochemical structure of honey produced in apiaries of different altitudes to change. In this
