BACKGROUND Alcohol consumption is heritable, but genetic susceptibility to drinking behavior has not been investigated widely in genome-wide association studies. OBJECTIVE We aimed to identify susceptibility loci for drinking behavior (drinkers compared with nondrinkers) in Han Chinese.
