Brain mechanisms underlying explicit evaluation of emotion have been explored using different tasks including 'stimulus-focused evaluation', 'evaluation of one's own emotion' and 'evaluation of others' emotions'. Yet the extent to which similar brain mechanisms underlie different evaluation tasks is unclear.
