Fixed point theory for nonexpansive and related mappings has played a fundamental role in many aspects of nonlinear functional analysis for many years. The notion of asymptotic pointwise nonexpansive mapping was introduced and studied in 1, 2 . Very recently, in 3 , techniques developed in 1, 2 were applied in metric spaces and CAT 0 spaces where the authors attend to the Bruhat-Tits inequality for CAT 0 spaces in order to obtain such results.
