INTRODUCTION The objective of this research was to evaluate commercially available preformed archwire forms compared with normal dental arch forms. METHODS Thirty mandibular dental casts were made of orthodontically untreated subjects with the most ideal occlusions, selected from among approximately 3500 students at Nippon Dental University.
