Three sulfate-reducing bacterial strains (Desulfovibrio sp. strain SHV, Desulfococcus sp. strain WHC, and Desulfomicrobium sp. strain WHB) with the capacity to cometabolize 2-nitrodiphenylamine, 4-nitrodiphenylamine, and 2,4-dinitrodiphenylamine were newly isolated.
