In order to assess the effect of pentachlorophenol(PCP)and octachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin(OCDD)on aquatic environment and fish, we studied the single and combined toxicity of PCP and OCDD using zebrafish as the model animal. The results showed that PCP(25μg·L-1~5mg·L-1)could cause severe developmental toxicity, while no effects were observed by OCDD(200μg·L-1 and 500μg·L-1).
