We present collider tests of the recent proposal for weak-scale quantum gravity due to new large compact space dimensions in which only the graviton $(G)$ propagates. We show that the existing high precision LEP-I $Z$-pole data can impose nontrivial constraints on the scale of the new dimensions, via the decay mode $Z\ensuremath{\rightarrow}f\overline{f}+G$ $(f\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}=\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}q,\ensuremath{\ell})$. These bounds are comparable to those obtained at high energy… Expand

Collider implications of universal extra dimensions
• Physics

We consider the universal extra dimensions scenario of Appelquist, Cheng, and Dobrescu, in which all of the standard model fields propagate into one extra compact dimension, estimated therein to beExpand
Diphoton signals for Low Scale Gravity in Extra Dimensions
Gravity can become strong at the TeV scale in the theory of extra dimensions. An effective Lagrangian can be used to describe the gravitational interactions below a cutoff scale. In this work, weExpand

We investigate the sensitivity of future photon-photon colliders to low scale gravity scenarios via the process {gamma}{gamma}{yields}ZZ where the Kaluza-Klein boson exchange contributes only whenExpand
Extra dimensions and Higgs pair production at photon colliders
We show that new physics effects due to extra dimensions can dramatically affect Higgs pair production at photon colliders. We find that the cross section due to extra dimensions with the scale $M_S$Expand
Electroweak precision measurements and collider probes of the standard model with large extra dimensions

Abstract In the universal extra dimensions (UED) scenario, the tree level masses of the first level Kaluza–Klein (KK) excitations of Standard Model particles are essentially degenerate. RadiativeExpand
PRELIMINARY Search for Extra Spatial Dimensions and TeV Scale Quantum Gravity at LEP
• 1999
A search for extra spatial dimensions in the context of TeV scale quantum gravity has been performed with the ALEPH detector at LEP. At LEP-2, a contribution to the production of events with singleExpand
