Cognitive deficits are related to impaired everyday functioning in multiple conditions and in healthy individuals. Treatment of cognitive functioning can be facilitated through either pharmacological or remediation strategies. The critical goals of cognitive enhancement are to improve everyday functioning in multiple domains.
