Toll-like receptors (TLRs) play an important role in the activation of innate and adaptive immune responses. Stimulation with multiple TLR agonists may result in synergistic, complimentary or inhibitory effects on innate immune responses. In this study, we investigated the effects of co-stimulation of sheep peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) and B cells with agonists for TLR3, 4, 7/8 and 9.
