This chapter provides information to VMS Clusters. Clustering is a technique whereby two or more computer systems are coupled together more tightly than in a simple network. VMScluster systems can share disks and other resources and provide clusterwide access to them. It is possible to configure a VMScluster in such a way that it does not matter which cluster member a user logs into; each system acts identically to all the others, and all the same files, printers, and queues are available… Expand
