Abstract

cDNA coding for an antifreeze protein (LS-12) in the longhorn sculpin, Myoxocephalus octodecimspinosis, was prepared from liver mRNA using reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction coupled with 3' and 5' RACE procedures.
