Combination therapy (LpTAE) consisting of arterial infusion of a lipophilic anticancer drug, SMANCS, dissolved in an oily lymphographic agent, lipiodol (LPD), and transcatheter arterial embolization (TAE) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) was studied with special reference to the pathological findings.
