The aim of the present study was to evaluate the clinical value of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in the preoperative T staging of gastric cancer and in the postoperative pathological diagnosis. In total, 30 patients with gastric cancer were investigated, including 19 males and 11 females (age, 50-69 years; mean age, 60 years).
