PURPOSE To describe the clinical characteristics of Chinese patients with intermediate uveitis (IU). METHODS Retrospective review of patients with IU with at least 6 months follow-up. RESULTS Seventy patients were identified and the mean follow-up was 59.7 months. The mean age at presentation was 33.1 years. Fifteen (21.4%) patients had disease onset before the age of 18 years; 91.4% of IU cases were considered idiopathic after investigations.
