INTRODUCTION Infective mononucleosis is most commonly caused by Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), and in smaller percentage by cytomegalovirus (CMV). OBJECTIVE The aim of this paper was to determine the clinical and laboratory differences between EBV and CMV infectious mononucleosis in children.
