The present article is a descriptive analysis of clinical and bacteriological profile of neonatal septicemia in a tertiary care hospital in Bangladesh. Eighty six neonates with suspected sepsis were enrolled, out of which 30 were culture positive. Clinical presentation was non-specific. Majority (70%) of the cultures isolated gram negative bacilli, most commonly E.coli and Klebsiella.
