Psoriasis is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, a principal cause of which is atherosclerosis caused by hyperlipidemia. However, it is not known whether treatment of hyperlipidemia in patients with psoriasis lead to clinical improvement in psoriasis condition.
