Clinical study on laparoscopic evaluation of two different techniques of sterilization was carried out in 60 healthy female Rhesus macaques divided into two equal groups viz., ovariectomy (Group I; n=30), tubectomy (group II; n=30). After anesthesia , animals were placed in Trendelenburg’s position on a tilted surgical table. Two pre-umbilical ports were created for insertion of forceps and laparoscope.
