In these proceedings we present a complete classification of all one‐ and two‐dimensional orbifold compactifications. Our study is based on the classification of crystallographic space groups. There exist two 1D and seventeen 2D orbifolds. Many of them have so far not been considered for the compactification of higher‐dimensional string or quantum field theories. We determine the most general parities for each of the orbifolds and construct the corresponding basis functions.

Dark matter and localised fermions from spherical orbifolds?
• Physics
• 2016
A bstractWe study a class of six-dimensional models based on positive curvature surfaces (spherical 2-orbifolds) as extra-spaces. Using the Newman-Penrose formalism, we discuss the particle spectrumExpand

CP violation from pure gauge in extra dimensions
• Physics

A bstractOne of the Sakharov’s condition for baryogenesis is the violation of both C and CP. In the Standard Model, gauge interactions break maximally C, but CP is only broken through the YukawaExpand
Effective Models of new physics at the Large Hadron Collider
With the start of the Large Hadron Collider runs, in 2010, particle physicists will be soon able to have a better understanding of the electroweak symmetry breaking. They might also answer to manyExpand
Gauge-Higgs Unification with Broken Flavor Symmetry
We study Gauge-Higgs unification model on the orbifold $S^{1}/Z_{2}$ based on the extended SM gauge group $G_{SM}^{ex}=SU(2)_{L} \times U(1)_{Y} \times SO(3)_{F}$. The group $SO(3)_{F}$ is treated asExpand
