Classicalization is a phenomenon of redistribution of energy - initially stored in few hard quanta - into the high occupation numbers of the soft modes, described by a final state that is approximately classical. Using an effective Hamiltonian, we first show why the transition amplitudes that increase occupation numbers are exponentially suppressed and how a very special family of classicalizing theories compensates this suppression. This is thanks to a large micro-state entropy generated by… Expand

Finding critical states of enhanced memory capacity in attractive cold bosons
TLDR
This paper develops an analytic method that enables us to find critical states with increased storage capabilities in a generic system of cold bosons with weak attractive interactions, and observes a rich structure of quantum phases with a critical point of enhanced memory capacity. Expand
Bounds on Quantum Information Storage and Retrieval
We present certain universal bounds on the capacity of quantum information storage and on the time scale of its retrieval for a generic quantum field theoretic system. The capacity, quantified by theExpand

On the loss of learning capability inside an arrangement of neural networks
TLDR
The loss of information and the loss of learning capability inside an arrangement of neural networks is analyzed using the formulation of non-unitary Bogoliubov transformations in order to connect the information between different points of the arrangement. Expand

We study the black-hole evaporation from the perspective of neural networks. We then analyze the evolution of the Hamiltonian, finding in this way the conditions under which the synapse connectingExpand
The quantum substructure of gravity
In dieser Arbeit identifizieren und untersuchen wir verschiedene universelle Quantenphanomene, die insbesondere, aber bei Weitem nicht ausschlieslich, relevant fur Gravitation sind. Im ersten TeilExpand
Black hole metamorphosis and stabilization by memory burden
Systems of enhanced memory capacity are subjected to a universal effect of memory burden, which suppresses their decay. In this paper, we study a prototype model to show that memory burden can beExpand
Black-Hole evaporation and quantum-depletion in Bose–Einstein condensates
We study the analogy between the Hawking radiation in Black-Holes and the Quantum depletion process of a Bose-Einstein condensate by using the Bogoliubov transformations method. We find that theExpand
Entropy bound and unitarity of scattering amplitudes
We establish that unitarity of scattering amplitudes imposes universal entropy bounds. The maximal entropy of a self-sustained quantum field object of radius R is equal to its surface area and at theExpand

The quest for a Quantum Neural Network
TLDR
This article presents a systematic approach to QNN research, concentrating on Hopfield-type networks and the task of associative memory, and outlines the challenge of combining the nonlinear, dissipative dynamics of neural computing and the linear, unitary dynamics of quantum computing. Expand
Black Hole's Quantum N-Portrait
We establish a quantum measure of classicality in the form of the occupation number, $N$, of gravitons in a gravitational field. This allows us to view classical background geometries as quantumExpand

Quantum Neural Computing
