Cladistic Assessment , Key and Description of Two New Neotropical Genera and Species of Gabuniina ( Hymenoptera : Ichneumonidae : Cryptinae )

title={Cladistic Assessment , Key and Description of Two New Neotropical Genera and Species of Gabuniina ( Hymenoptera : Ichneumonidae : Cryptinae )},

—Phe Cryptini Fenixia n. gen., from the Brazilian Atlantic Forest, and Dineotropica n. gen., from the Amazon basin, are proposed, described, and cladistically compared with literature data for representative species of all genera of the subtribe Gabuniina and 38 outgroup species. A total of 72 species and 51 characters are evaluated. Implied weighting results suggest that Fenixia is closely related to Lagarosoma Gupta, while Dineotropica is closest to Cestrus Pownes. Unweighted analyses were…
Phylogeny and reclassification of Distictus Townes (Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae, Cryptinae), with description of a new species
The validity of Distictus Townes was cladistically tested against 19 species and 60 informative characters, while suggesting that it might be the sister group of the clade Lagarosoma Gupta + Prosthoporus Porter + Trypha Townes.
Phylogeny and revision of Messatoporus Cushman (Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae, Cryptinae), with descriptions of sixty five new species.
The large New World genus Messatoporus Cushman is diagnosed, redefined, described, and its species revised, and the results also support the monophyletic group of Osprynchotina, in a clade including also Dotocryptus Brèthes.

Synopsis of Australasian Microgastrinae (Hymenoptera : Braconidae), with a key to genera and description of new taxa
The genera of microgastrine braconid wasps present in the Australasian region are reviewed, and the generic placement of all species recorded from the region is reassessed since a recent generic reclassification of the subfamily left most of theAustralasian species incorrectly placed.
The Old World genera of braconine wasps (Hymenoptera: Braconidae)
One new tribe and five new genera based on two existing and three new species are described, and an illustrated key is provided to the Old World genera of Braconinae.
The polyphyletic nature of Apanteles Foerster (Hymenoptera: Braconidae): a phylogeny and reclassification of Microgastrinae
The subfamily Microgastrinae is redefined; Cardiochilinae and Miracinae are placed as separate subfamilies and Twenty new species are described and about 350 new combinations are given.
The African species of Zaglyptogastra (Hymenoptera) with a checklist of world species
An illustrated key is provided to the African species of the braconine wasp genus (Zaglyptogastra Ashmead) and six new synonymies are proposed.
A new species and host association biology of neotropical Compsobraconoides Quicke (Hymenoptera: Braconidae).
The new species Coinpsobrnconoides cinnamomi Fortier and Nishida is described from Costa Rica and the first association of a Compsobraconoides species with Coleoptera is recorded, and both host associations involve hosts in swollen plant tissue.
Phylogenetic relationships among microgastrine braconid wasp genera based on data from the 16S, COI and 28S genes and morphology
Phylogenetic relationships among the genera of the large braconid wasp subfamily Microgastrinae were explored using DNA sequence data from the mitochondrial large ribosomal subunit (16S) and mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase (COI) genes, along with morphological characters, both new and from previous studies.
Three new genera and species from the Afrotropical region are described and fully illustrated and a key to the species of the genus Kenema Van Achterberg is added.
Monograph of a New Neotropical Mutillid Genus, Pappognatha (Hymenoptera: Mutillidae)
The Mutillid species discussed herein have formerly been included in Iloplomutilla Ashmead, = Tilhima Andre, or have been included with a list of species incertis sedis . The generic name,
Die Braconinae-Typen der beiden bedeutendsten Hymenopteren-Sammlungen der DDR (Hymenoptera)
Following examination of the Braconinae collections in the Museum fur Naturkunde, Berlin and the Institut fur Pflanzenschutzforschung, Eberswalde, the type specimen of a total of 29 species have been
The Indo-Australian species of the braconine wasp genus Zaglyptogastra Ashmead
An illustrated key to the eight species of Zaglyptogatra Ashmead known to occur in the Indo-Australian Region is provided. Three species are described as new: aswada from Sumatra, maiada from
