OBJECTIVE To measure serum levels of adipsin, leptin, resistin, adiponectin, visfatin, ghrelin and insulin in postmenopausal women screened for the metabolic syndrome (METS). METHODS Serum of 100 postmenopausal women was analyzed using multiplex technology for the mentioned analytes.
