Circular DNA from the water mold Saprolegnia

Abstract

Circular DNA has been investigated in the water mold Saprolegnia. This organism was shown to contain two satellite DNA components at 1.685 and 1.707 g/cm3 in addition to main band DNA at a buoyant density of 1.717 g/cm3.
