A Clinical analysis of 120 adult patients with chronic subdural haematoma admitted into the Department of Surgery Siriraj Hospital showed that the majority of them (75%) were male with the highest incidence during 51 - 90 year of age 70% of cases) followed by age range 21 - 50 (30% of cases). The ratio of male to female was 3: 1. Ninety four patients gave history of minor head trauma without loss of consciousness.
