Chromosome numbers and karyotypes of 10 wild bramble(Rubus L.)species(varieties) from Southwest of China had been studied by using common root-tip squashing method showed that they were all diploidy with 2n=2x=14,but R.buergeri and R.setchuenensis were not studied.

Chromosome Numbers and Karyotypes of Four Species Rubus L. from North of Iran
- 2019
Biology
Total form percentage and the asymmetry indices, suggesting changes in the chromosome structure of Rubus species, occurred during their diversification, confirmed that polyploidy within this genus cytogenetic phenomenon caused this variability in this genus.
Phylogeny of the Diploid Species of Rubus (Rosaceae)
- 2023
Biology, Environmental Science
Genotyping by sequencing reduced-representation genome sequencing data from 186 accessions representing 65 species, 1 subspecies and 17 varieties of Rubus, with emphasis on diploid species, were used to infer a phylogeny using maximum likelihood and maximum parsimony methods.
