The current study examined the relationship between child-reported parenting behaviors and children's anxiety, depressive, and externalizing symptoms. Youth ages 7 - 14 (N = 175; 52.6% male) and their parents seeking treatment for child anxiety were evaluated. The parenting behaviors that were measured separately included father's and mother's acceptance, psychological control, and firm/behavioral control.
