Dear Editor: We read with interest the article by Tubbs et al. postulating the concept of Chiari V [1]. We congratulate the authors for the case and for reporting a unique phenomenon. As an extension of their postulation, we would draw the author’s attention to our previous article on an allied situation of temporal lobe herniation in a similar clinical setting of open spina bifida with hydrocephalus [2].
