The present study was designed to evaluate the effects of oral administration of the fisetin on lung tumour initiation by orally applied Benzo(a)pyrene (B(a) P). Its effects on biochemical markers enzymes as well as pathological markers were evaluated. The pathological enzyme activities were increased (P<0.05) in lung cancer bearing animals when compared with control group animals.
