Abstract This review article presents an overview of the coordination chemistry of the three title bridging ligands, along with some selected structural, vibrational and electronic spectroscopic, photo- and electrochemical, and catalytic properties. These ligands can bridge metal atoms to form bi-, tri, and tetranuclear complexes and polymers.
